PIECES OF YOU by CASSIA LEO (Review & Giveaway)

SYNOPSIS
The story that began in the USA Today bestseller RELENTLESS continues. Which team are you on?

In Relentless, college student Claire Nixon and surfer Adam Parker each had a painful past too heavy to carry alone. Claire tried to push Adam away, but Adam's relentless pursuit of her heart and her secrets made her walls come crumbling down.

Though their hearts will never be whole again, Claire and Adam now know they are stronger together than they are apart.

But now Claire's attending college a hundred miles away from Adam. With their relationship already hanging by a thread, Adam is sent to Hawaii on business.

And rock star Chris Knight is back in Claire's life.

Chris wants his ex-girlfriend back and he knows just how to get her: only he has the power to mend the final missing piece of Claire's broken heart. Now Claire must choose between a long-distance relationship with Adam and a second chance at love, family, and home.

New Adult Contemporary Romance: Due to strong language, drug use, and sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.

MY REVIEW

I LOVED this book!  Pieces of You sucked me in and I totally devoured it.  I cried, laughed out loud, beat my fist in frustration and now I am numb even after 48 hours of soak time.

PoY seamlessly picks up right where Relentless ends ONLY this is the trifecta win in the point of views department.  Claire has regained her footing and seems to be getting stronger by the day.  Adam is still the joke telling, irresistible, yummy surfer/architect boyfriend.  We see Adam make a few game changer decisions but I think these show us how unselfishly he truly loves Claire.  This book explores the deeper sides of Chris.  Although Chris’ career has taken off he is willing to risk it all for a second chance with Claire.  Check out this quote:

“You’re the fucking love of my life.  You don’t stop loving someone just because they’ve hurt you.  Yes, what you did hurt me, but I gain nothing if I stay angry with you.  But I might gain everything by forgiving you.  You’re my everything.  I just want you back.”

Claire and Adam have only been dating a couple of months but their love is strong and has no signs of slowing down.  UNTIL… Adam has to go to Hawaii for two months.  Can their love survive the distance and loneliness???  I truly hope so!  Adam tries to soften the blow of his departure by saying this to Claire:

“Because sometimes you have to suffer without the things you want now so you can have everything you need later.”

Chris and Claire have loved each other for years and now are bound together by Abby.  Chris is determined to put their relationship back together.  All along Claire holds steadfast in her commitment to Adam that is until…. Well you have to read the book!

Supporting characters play a bigger role in PoY and one of my personal favorites is Yuri.  Yuri is a fellow surfer and true friend to Adam.  Check out one of the first things Yuri says to Claire:

“Claire, I’ve heard so much about you,” Yuri proclaims excitedly. “This is Lena, the servant of my loins.” Lena punches him in the arm and he laughs. “I mean, the goddess of my universe.”

This love triangle is so intense you will have a hard time choosing your alliance.  Grab the book today!

I love this book so much I am giving away two eBooks!  Enter below!

  1. I jokingly made a comment on Cassia's facebook page saying that this should turn into a ménage a trois, lol. But seriously, this would solve all their problems if Adam and Chris would be willing to share so that neither one would have to lose her. I can't wait to read Pieces of You. Thanks for the giveaway. Great review by the way!!
