REVIEW

Broken Juliet was everything I needed and MORE after having my heart ripped out in Bad Romeo. Leisa Rayven has proven YET AGAIN that she is a very talented writer! Her characters are consuming, enchanting and breathtaking.

Picking up immediately where Bad Romeo left off, Cassie and Ethan continue on the emotional journey hoping for happiness, despite their tumultuous history. Misunderstandings run rampant in this one, but for once, Ethan is more than willing to clear them up. Can Cassie open up to Ethan one more time? After two previous heartbreaks, can her heart survive one more???
“This man represents so many things to me. He was my first true friend. My first love. First lover. The master of more pleasure than I knew existed, and the architect of more heartache than I thought I could endure.”
Just as in Bad Romeo the past to present flow is flawless. I must admit I am not a huge fan of this style of writing BUT with this couple we needed to see where they had been in order to embrace where they are headed.
“He’s saying everything I needed him to say years ago, when I was still young and open and filled with hope.”
Ms. Rayven certainly set the bar high for me with Bad Romeo. And now, she's completely blew me away with Ethan and Cassie’s stunning conclusion. Fraught with angst, sexual tension and spellbinding chemistry, Broken Juliet will have you breaking out in goosebumps and squirming in your seat. Buckle up and enjoy this emotional rollercoaster.
Rating: 4.5 Stars (Sequel to Bad Romeo, Starcrossed #1)
