SYNOPSIS

When Cassie Taylor met Ethan Holt at acting school, sparks flew. She was the good girl actress. He was the bad boy about campus. But one fated casting choice for Romeo and Juliet changed it all. Like the characters they were playing, Cassie and Ethan's romance seemed destined. Until he broke her heart and betrayed her trust. Now the A-list heartthrob is back in her life and turning her world around. One touch at a time.

Cast as romantic leads once again, they're forced to confront raw memories of the heartbreaking lows and pulse-pounding highs of their secret college affair. But they'll also discover that people who rub each other the wrong way often make the best sparks.

REVIEW

5 HEART RACING STARS!!!
Writing a review for a book that I MORE than LOVED is such a challenge for me. I struggle to do the book justice and just want to scream READ! THIS! BOOK! because I know you will love it. Bad Romeo is a truly amazing second chance romance that moves between their present day reunion and the tragic start of their relationship.

The problem is, no matter how careful he is, I’ll always remember the other falls, and no matter how much he tells me he’s different, I’ll always know it was at my expense.
Cassandra (Cassie) Taylor is a strong young woman and a critically acclaimed stage actress. She has only ever loved one man, Ethan Holt. Despite tremendous heartbreak and years of separation she still feels that magnetic pull when they are cast side by side in an upcoming play. Her world begins to unravel while she teeters between love and hate.
“If I stay with him any longer, he’ll unstitch me, and I really can’t fall apart now. Bitterness is the only thing holding me together. Without it, I’m shapeless.”
Ethan and Cassie first meet in drama school. Cassie is the naive sheltered 19 year old, who loves openingly and without boundaries. Ethan is arrogant, dark and mysterious. At every turn Ethan throws up walls and tries to keep Cassie at bay.
“You terrify me. But not enough to make me think you won’t be worth it.”
The chemistry between this couple WAS AMAZING. They had this delicious push-pull tension between them that had my heart racing and my fingers flying to turn the pages faster and faster.
“He worships my skin, and makes soft noises that speak louder than most of the words he’s ever said.

Like this, he’s mine. Completely. It’s so clear in the way he watches me. As if he’s looking for every new milestone of pleasure while he convinces all of my nerve endings to dance for him.”
Stories like Bad Romeo are reason I love to read. Its intensity made my heart flutter and gave me goose bumps.  In addition, it is the FUNNIEST witty banter that had me truly laughing out loud at times!!!  I love being transferred right into the story and experience it all through brilliant writing. This may be Leisa Rayven's debut novel BUT there is NOTHING amatuer about it her writing.

Bad Romeo is a slight cliffhanger, it leaves you in a good place but also makes you desperate for more. The next book in the Starcrossed series, Broken Juliet  is set to release on April 28th!
