Gabe’s POV Prologue

I keep catching her stealing peeks at me from across the room. She is so fucking cute pressed up against the wall of my small living room, playing with her phone, and taking small sips of her soda. I made sure to get her a drink; I don’t want any of these assholes trying to get her drunk. She looks nervous as her eyes scan the crowd and find me again.

Lizzie presses herself up against me and begins whispering in my ear, but my eyes stay fixed on Jess. She’s gorgeous in her short, cut-off jean shorts and tight white t-shirt showing off her long, lean legs and large, round tits. I watch in slow motion as Brad trips, spilling his beer down the front of her shirt. I can’t help but chuckle when I see Jess giving him a piece of her mind. That’s my girl.

With a few quick steps, I’m standing in front of her. I can’t help but grin when I see how flustered she is. “What happened?” I laugh at her.

“What does it look like?” She asks, as she pulls her tight t-shirt away from her body. You can see right through her white t-shirt. Reaching out I grab her hand, guiding her down the dark hallway to my room. My pulse quickens as I unlock and open the door, guiding her inside my room. There is a small desk lamp that casts a low light throughout the small room.

Jess stands twirling her fingers as she looks around my room. “Here, change into this,” I offer her a t-shirt from my closet. I hand it to her and sit down at my desk, pulling up my email. I hear her shuffle quietly, and it takes every ounce of willpower not to turn and watch her change. Fuck it. I turn and catch up holding the collar of my t-shirt up to her nose. My t-shirt is so long on her it covers her short jean shorts.

“You look good in my shirt.” She smiles at me and fidgets with the hem. I can’t take my eyes off of her. I take her in from head to toe, twice. Her long legs, her curvy ass and chest, and her beautiful green eyes cause my dick to twitch and I shift in my desk chair.

“What?” She asks. I stand up and in two steps plant myself directly in front of her. Closer than I should be, so close that I can smell her coconut body wash, and see the shimmer of her lip gloss.

“I missed you,” I whisper. “I’m glad you came this weekend.” I see her swallow hard, and can see her pulse in her neck beating wildly.

“I missed you too,” she whispers back. “It’s quiet without you at home.” Our eyes are locked on each other, and I take another half step into her.

“Tell me how much you have missed me, Jess.” She’s visibly affected by how close I am, and I don’t let her answer. Leaning forward my nose brushes the side of hers, and I can feel her warm breath on my lips.

“I’ve missed you…a lot,” she stutters. With those words, I lean forward and press my lips to hers. He head relaxes and falls backwards slightly, opening her mouth to me allowing me deeper. Our tongues brush against each other and her soft lips return my kiss. I hold her face, and search her eyes. I know she wants this as much as I do. It is here, that I vow to make Jess mine.

MY REVIEW

Rebecca Shea has hit a home run with her debut novel, UNBREAKABLE. This story embraces true love along with indescribable heartbreak. This is a 4 star read!

Jessica (Jess) Harper lost her mother at a very young age and her father dealt with his grief by throwing himself into his career. Whereby, leaving Jess in the care of the neighboring family who welcomed and loved her with open arms.

Gabe Garcia is the excelling college athlete who decides to walk away from his scholarship and join the local fire department.  You will fall in love with Gabe!  Not only is he the yummy boy next door but he is a truly great guy that is head over heals in love with Jess.

Gabe and Jess have been in each other's lives for years. They have a mutual attraction they both hold at bay.  It doesn't take long for Jess and Gabe to realize it is time to take their relationship to the next level.  You will enjoy their sweet and steamy romance.

"This is real.  Don't ever doubt my feelings for you.  For years I've watched you, wanted you - waited for you."

When Jess experiences a devastating tragedy she pulls away from Gabe and all those who love her.  Not only does she withdraw but she accepts an internship that takes her across the country.  While attempting to run from her hurt, Jess finds herself forming bonds with people that push her limits.

"For the rest of my life, I will regret not fighting harder for you. I should have fought harder for us."

You will fall in love with Jess and Gabe and you will experience true heartbreak right along with them.  Jess learns a great deal about herself and it was a joy seeing the strong bright young woman embrace her true self.

"The most important lessons I took away:  It's okay to hurt and to be broken, but it's also imperative to forgive and heal.  You have to feel to be able to love.  But most importantly, every girl needs a tattooed bad boy to teach her to really live."

We get a yummy twist thrown in Unbreakable and that is Landon Christianson.  I can not wait for his story UNDONE which is coming out this winter.
