STEPH'S REVIEW
4.5 fabulous stars!!
Castle Hill is a novella that covers the time period between the end of On Dublin Street, the epilogue and beyond. It gives us the intimate details we ached for all while showcasing that love is not always hearts and flowers. It definately packed a powerful, emotional punch in a short package.

Joss’s personal growth really shines in Castle Hill. She is no longer closed off and guarded. Joss is deeply in love with Braden and lets his love her ground her.
“You’re my everything. You know that right?” His are tensed around my at my words and then I found myself pushed back, his eyes boring intensely into mine….. “You don’t need to sweet-talk me to get sex, babe.”
Braden once again captured my heart. He is as ever, the yummy alpha male we all love to drool over and at the same time so intune with Jocelyn’s freak outs. He reads her and knows just what to say when she needs him most.
“Life isn’t perfect, we aren’t perfect, but I’m telling you now, Jocelyn, we’re indestructible. Stop shaking, and just marry me.”
We get recaps on characters from both the books in the On Dublin Street series. One of my favorite characters has to be Clark Nichols, Braden’s step-father. He is an extremely classy gentlemen and welcomes Joss to the Nichols family with unconditional love.

Just when you think they are about to ride off into the sunset their life takes a slight detour. Once again, Braden and Joss find themselves struggling to reconnect. Of course it hurt my heart to see this amazing couple at odds but their strength and resilience made me love them all the more.

Samantha Young is a brilliant writer. She weaves us through stories with witty banter and heartfelt emotions. I look forward to her upcoming release BEFORE JAMAICA LANE.
